GY-89 module, 10-axis accelerometer gyroscope compass
The GY-89 module integrates a L3GD20, specifically a three-axis gyroscope and
accelerometer, a magnetometer with three axes LSM303D, both produced by ST
Microelectronics and a Bosch BMP180 pressure sensor.
Is the ideal solution for mobile applications and for all those solutions which
provide for the detection of the displacement and the movement of an object,
together with the detection and measurement of the earth's magnetic field.
Perfect for detection and measurement applications in model aircraft, drones,
weather stations and a thousand other applications.
Incorporates nine 16bit ADC converters (one for each axis) used for the
accelerometer and gyroscopic and magnetometer ensuring the maximum precision of
the conversion of the data detected. To combine precision speed each sensor can
give a programmable output in different ranges carried in the technical
specifications.
The module is designed for use with a large variety of microcontrollers using
communication through the I2C bus; it lends itself therefore to be handled by
Arduino and many other development kit.
